Speech Language Pathologist Clinical Fellow (CF) - 2026-27 School Year Soliant - 3.9 Albany, NY Job Details Full-time | Contract $36.70 - $56.70 an hour 1 day ago Benefits Health insurance Qualifications Master's degree in speech-language pathology (SLP) Master's degree Speech-Language Pathology License Full Job Description Position requires a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, eligibility to begin the Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) under ASHA supervision, and eligible for state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist. A school district in Albany, NY is seeking a motivated Speech-Language Pathologist Clinical Fellow (SLP-CF) for the upcoming school year. This is an excellent opportunity to complete your Clinical Fellowship in a structured, supportive district with strong supervision and diverse clinical exposure. Position Overview Full-time, Monday-Friday (35-40 hours/week) Onsite role serving PreK-12 students across assigned schools CF supervision provided by a licensed SLP Full school-year contract with potential for renewal Caseload Details Average caseload: 40-60 students (varies by building assignment) Students with mild to moderate communication needs Areas of service include: Articulation & phonological disorders Receptive/expressive language delays Social/pragmatic communication needs Fluency and voice disorders Likely exposure to: Autism spectrum disorders AAC/assistive communication devices Multilingual and urban student populations
Responsibilities:
Conduct evaluations and re-evaluations Develop and implement IEP goals Provide direct therapy (individual and small group) Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams Maintain documentation and compliance with district/state guidelines New York State Requirements (SLP-CF) Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Eligibility for Initial Teaching Certification (Speech and Language Disabilities) through the New York State Education Department Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship (CF) under a licensed SLP Licensure through the New York State Office of the Professions Passing the Praxis exam typically required for certification/licensure Required fingerprinting and school clearance process Compensation for this position ranges from $36.70 to $56.70.
