For 80 years, we have been one of upstate New York's largest providers of programs and services for individuals who have disabilities. Many of the innovative programs and vital services that we offer are not available elsewhere. We are currently offering a $6,000 sign on bonus for Speech Language Pathologists joining our team! Compensation for this position is $30.97•36.57 per hour. Commensurate with experience. The Center is a great opportunity for a new graduate looking for a Clinical Fellowship Year. We are searching for a full time Speech Language Pathologist to join our Cloverpatch Preschool with 3-5 year old's. This position is based out of our Cloverpatch School in Albany, NY. Cloverpatch Preschool provides educational services for students from 58 districts in the Capital District region and beyond, serving students who have multiple disabilities, autism, and traumatic brain injuries. Our dedicated team works every day to make sure each student is receiving not only an education optimized for their unique needs, but also full childhood and school experience. We have three ultimate goals for our graduates: independence, community inclusion and self-determination.
Responsibilities:
Works collaboratively with interdisciplinary team members including teachers, teacher assistants, school districts, and families to ensure quality, state-of-the-art, cost effective services to all students
Requirements:
Graduate degree (Masters) in field of Speech-Language Pathology is required Specialized training, license, certification, skills: NYS Licensure/Registration•Speech-Language Pathologists, NYS Teaching Certificate as a TSHH or TSLD, American Speech-Language-Hearing Association Certificate of Clinical Competence required we offer excellent supervision to Clinical Fellows Professional experience with dysphagia, augmentative alternative communication, working with individuals with developmental, physical and neurological disorders preferred At least 1 year of job related experience required Must be at least 18 years old to apply for this position Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds At the Center for Disability Services, we don't just accept difference•we celebrate it, support it, and thrive on it for the benefit of our employees and the people we support. Compensation Range:
$64,837.50•$78,937.68 For over 80 years, the Center for Disability Services has served as a trusted community leader, providing innovative programs and services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities here in the Capital Region and North Country.
