Job Description

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Step into a rewarding summer contract role providing essential speech-language pathology services to elementary-aged students. This opportunity runs from July 6th through August 14th, 2026, offering a consistent weekday schedule of 8:15 am to 2:15 pm. Work within a supportive educational environment, making a meaningful impact on children's communication skills during a pivotal period of their growth. Collaborate with educators and families while utilizing your expertise to address speech, language, and communication needs.
Qualifications & Credentials:
Active NY State SLP license (required) CCC or CFY eligible (Speech-Language Pathology — Certificate of Clinical Competence or Clinical Fellowship Year candidates accepted) Previous experience in a school setting preferred, though motivated new graduates are encouraged to apply Strong interpersonal and communication abilities Passion for serving elementary-aged students
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct assessments and deliver individualized therapy to students with speech-language needs Develop and implement treatment plans in compliance with IEP goals Work closely with teachers, families, and support staff to facilitate student progress Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes Participate in team meetings and contribute insights for student success Enjoy a competitive hourly rate of $55, paid weekly for your dedication.
