Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity near Binghamton, NY, as a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist. This full-time summer assignment offers the possibility to seamlessly transition into a full-year position based on performance and school needs. Work alongside a dedicated onsite facilitator, who will serve as in-person support to help you deliver effective and personalized therapy services to students in a school-based environment.
Key Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program. Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP). Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist. Previous experience within a school setting preferred. Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills. Ability to adapt therapy plans to individual student needs and educational goals.
Primary Responsibilities:
Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders for a diverse student population. Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) based on formal assessments and team input. Maintain thorough records of student progress, attendance, and required reporting. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive support for each student. Participate in IEP meetings, professional development sessions, and school events as needed. Utilize the support of an onsite facilitator to enhance service delivery and problem-solving.
