Job Description
Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available for the 2025-2026 school year at a K-12 school in a Liverpool, NY area community. This contract position primarily supports elementary students, with some high school students included, running from September through June. This role is ideal for an SLP passionate about fostering speech and language development in a school setting. Responsibilities include managing a caseload of approximately 28 students by conducting thorough speech and language assessments and delivering individualized therapy plans tailored to each student's needs. You will provide direct therapy services, collaborate closely with teachers and staff to implement accommodations and modifications, and monitor student progress to adjust interventions as necessary. Active participation in IEP meetings and providing guidance to parents and caregivers are integral components of this role.
Qualifications:
Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology Valid state SLP license or eligibility to obtain one Experience working with school-aged children preferred Strong communication skills and collaborative approach Familiarity with IEP processes and relevant educational lawsLocation:
