Job Description:
Essential Duties & Responsibilities including but not limited to: Maintains comprehensive records regarding patient care in reports and correspondence both within the clinic and with outside healthcare providers. Maintains daily statistics and submits billing in timely order in compliance with department protocol. Provides comprehensive diagnostic and treatment for speech, voice and swallowing disorders. Participates in research projects coordinated by the Speech Pathologists in conjunction with the Medical Director of Otolaryngology. Attends and participates in continuing education within Lahey Clinic as well as outside conferences. Complies with Speech, Voice and Swallowing infection control measures and safety program; and maintains a safe and neat working environment. Maintains courteous and effective interactions with colleagues and patients. Demonstrates an understanding of the job description, performance expectations, and competency assessment. Participates in departmental and/or interdepartmental quality improvement activities. Participates in and successfully completes Mandatory Education. Performs all other duties as needed or directed to meet the needs of the department.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education:
Knowledge of Speech Language Pathology typically acquired by attaining a Master's degree in this field.
Licensure, Certification, Registration:
Licensure by state of Massachusetts; certification by American Speech-Language Hearing Association.
Pay Range:
$38.50 - $51.82 The pay range listed for this position is the base hourly wage range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at this time. Actual compensation is determined based on several factors, that may include seniority, education, training, relevant experience, relevant certifications, geography of work location, job responsibilities, or other applicable factors permissible by law. Compensation may exceed the base hourly rate depending on shift differentials, call pay, premium pay, overtime pay, and other additional pay practices, as applicable to the position and in accordance with the law.
