The ideal candidate will evaluate students' expressive and receptive speech and language skills, collaborate with the evaluation team to determine ASL proficiency, and assess related areas such as auditory training and speech reading.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct Pre- and Post-Evaluations using appropriate tools and methods. Develop individualized therapy programs based on IEP/IFSP, including speech and auditory training. Create a supportive learning environment that meets students' needs. Use effective instructional techniques and ongoing diagnostic therapy. Maintain classroom supplies and materials. Collaborate with classroom teachers, parents, and other service providers to achieve IEP goals. Complete required documentation, including Medicaid logs, progress reports, and yearly summaries.
