Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract A contract Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed to support middle school students in a self-contained classroom setting. This role involves working with a diverse group of students presenting a variety of disorders and disabilities. The position is ideal for an SLP with experience in pediatric and school-based settings, including teletherapy.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive speech-language therapy services to middle school students. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to the needs of students with diverse communication disorders and disabilities. Collaborate with educators and support staff to create an inclusive learning environment. Utilize teletherapy techniques as needed to ensure continuity of care. Document patient progress and communicate effectively with families and school personnel. Support students within a self-contained classroom environment, addressing complex communication challenges.
Qualifications:
Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA preferred. Experience working in pediatric healthcare and educational settings. Skilled in teletherapy delivery methods. Ability to address a wide range of speech and language disorders. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.
