Job Description

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available for the 26/27 school year in Ashland, OH. This role is central to supporting students in grades K-12 by providing essential speech and language therapy services within a school setting. The contract position offers an opportunity to make a significant impact on student communication development and academic success.
Responsibilities include:
Conducting comprehensive speech and language assessments for K-12 students Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans Collaborating with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress Monitoring and documenting student progress, providing regular reports Participating in IEP meetings and offering recommendations for speech and language goals Staying current with best practices and continuing education in SLP Qualifications and experience: Valid Speech-Language Pathologist license or certification suitable for school settings Experience working with K-12 students in speech and language therapy Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage with students, families, and staff Ability to manage caseload effectively and adhere to school policies and regulations Knowledge of educational standards and familiarity with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
