Job Description
Blossom Pediatric Therapy Partners, LLC is seeking a skilled and compassionate Full Time or Part Time Speech Therapist to join our growing team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to provide high-quality speech therapy services to children in the community setting - this may include schools, daycares, homes, libraries - wherever is most accessible for the child. Your primary responsibility will be to assess, diagnose, and treat speech and language disorders in the pediatric population, helping them improve their communication skills and overall quality of life. Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments to identify speech and language disorders, including articulation, fluency, voice, and receptive and expressive language skills. Develop individualized treatment plans based on evaluation findings, tailored to the specific needs and goals of each child. Implement evidence-based therapy techniques and interventions to address speech and language deficits effectively. Provide direct speech therapy services to pediatric patients in the school setting, ensuring a comfortable and supportive environment for treatment. Collaborate with parents, caregivers, teachers, and other healthcare professionals to develop a multidisciplinary approach to therapy, incorporating input from various stakeholders to maximize treatment outcomes. Monitor and document patient progress, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of evaluations, treatment plans, and therapy sessions. Educate parents, caregivers, and teachers on speech and language development, offering guidance and strategies for promoting speech and language skills outside of therapy sessions. Adhere to ethical and professional standards, maintaining confidentiality and respecting the rights and privacy of patients and their families. Collaborate with the administrative team to schedule and coordinate therapy sessions, ensuring efficient use of time and resources. Documentation in the comfort of your home.Requirements:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program. Valid state license or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist. Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP). At this time, we cannot bring on additional CF candidates, but we would absolutely love to receive your resume for consideration in the future. Prior experience working with pediatric populations. Strong knowledge of speech and language development, as well as various speech disorders and treatment approaches. Ability to conduct comprehensive evaluations and create individualized treatment plans. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish rapport with children and their families. Empathy, patience, and a genuine passion for working with children. Strong organizational and time management abilities to effectively manage caseload and meet scheduling requirements.
