Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a fulfilling contract opportunity supporting K-12 students near Grove City, OH. As an experienced Speech-Language Pathologist, you'll have the chance to impact the lives of 38 students, providing essential therapy within a collaborative school environment. This role offers a manageable caseload and a consistent part-time schedule, allowing you the flexibility to balance your professional and personal commitments.
Desired Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Active SLP-CCC certification Current license to practice in Ohio Previous experience working with pediatric and school-based populations (K-12 preferred) Strong knowledge of assessment, intervention, and progress monitoring for diverse student needs Skillful in both individual and group therapy models Excellent interpersonal and documentation skills
What You'll Be Doing:
Delivering speech-language services to a caseload of 38 students across grades K-12 Completing up to 7,160 total therapy minutes per quarter (max 30 hours per week) Conducting comprehensive assessments, writing and updating IEPs, and maintaining compliance with district and state guidelines Collaborating with teachers, staff, and families to support students' communication development and academic achievement Utilizing evidence-based interventions tailored to each student's unique needs Monitoring student progress and maintaining thorough, timely records
