Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Speech-Language Pathologist, where you will play a vital role in improving communication and swallowing abilities for patients across diverse age groups. Duties Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to identify speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders using standardized tools and clinical observations Develop personalized treatment plans targeting communication goals and swallowing safety based on individual needs and physiological considerations Deliver evidence-based speech therapy interventions to improve articulation, language comprehension, social communication, voice quality, and feeding skills Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including physicians, educators, and caregivers to ensure holistic patient care Educate patients and their families on therapy techniques, home exercises, and strategies to support ongoing progress outside of sessions Maintain detailed documentation of patient progress, treatment plans, and clinical notes in compliance with regulatory standards Stay current with advancements in speech-language pathology practices through ongoing professional development Requirements Valid licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist from the appropriate licensing board or authority Prior school experience or familiarity with pediatric populations is highly preferred Strong knowledge of speech therapy techniques tailored for children with diverse needs including early intervention cases Experience with patient assessment methods and familiarity with medical terminology related to communication disorders Solid understanding of physiology and anatomy relevant to speech production and swallowing functions Ability to work effectively with pediatric patients in clinical or school settings while demonstrating patience and empathy Excellent communication skills to clearly convey treatment goals and instructions to patients, families, and team members Embark on a fulfilling career where your expertise transforms lives!
