Job Description
Upper Valley Medical Center Speech Pathologist (PRN)
- PRN (8:00-4:30) | schedule varies
- Inpatient / Acute Care Summary The Speech-Language Pathologist assumes a dynamic leadership role on the interdisciplinary patient care teams.
- Masters' degree in Speech-Language Pathology, from an accredited program Licensure/Certification/Registration
- Current Speech-Language Pathology license in State of Ohio.
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology.
- BLS certification required within 30 days of hire Experience
Minimum Level of Experience Required:
No prior job-related work experience- Preferred experience: 1-3 years of job-related experience. Knowledge/Skills

- Participates in quality improvement efforts and engages in ongoing professional development.
- Reports to work as scheduled. Essential Duties & Functions
- Evaluate, treat, document, delegate, and discharge patients per guidelines.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and provide patient/family education.
- Ensure accurate billing through proper documentation.
- Manage caseload per department standards and support patient satisfaction efforts.
- Participate in performance improvement programs and complete required competencies.
