Position:

ESY Speech-Language Pathologist Substitute

Reports To:

Director of Student Programs

Qualifications:

Hold or be eligible for Oklahoma Teaching Certificate. Meet all certification requirements or be eligible or working toward the Certificate of Clinical Competence designated by the American Speech Language Hearing Association. Satisfy all district requirements with regard to physical health and citizenship. Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable.

Position Goals:

To provide Speech Language Pathology Services for students who meet the criteria for Extended School year.

Responsibilities:

Follows the procedures, practices and guidelines outlined by the school, district, State and Federal laws intended to keep students healthy and safe. Provide services as outlined on the student's Individualized Education Plan. Facilitate collaboration with other staff, teachers, and service providers to plan support for individual students' educational progress. Take all necessary and reasonable precautions to protect students, equipment, and materials. Maintain accurate, complete and correct records as required by State and Federal Law. Prepares Progress Report at the end of ESY and enters all information relative to the student on EdPlan. Performs all other duties as assigned.
