  • Speech-Language Pathologist
  • in support of the Lawton Indian Hospital to provide speech therapy services.

  • Responsibilities
  • + Assess and diagnose: Conduct screenings and evaluations to identify disorders such as articulation problems, aphasia, stuttering, and swallowing difficulties (dysphagia).
+ Develop treatment plans: Create and carry out personalized therapy plans with specific, measurable goals to address individual functional needs. + Provide therapy: Teach clients how to make sounds, improve voice quality, maintain fluency, and develop communication strategies. This includes using augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) systems for those with severe challenges. + Educate and support: Teach patients and their families about their condition and provide counseling, training, and support. +
Collaborate:
Work with other professionals, such as physicians, teachers, and other therapists, to coordinate care and ensure a holistic approach. + Maintain records: Keep detailed, accurate records of patient progress, treatment plans, and other relevant information. Records shall be completed within 24 hours of patient visit. + Other duties as assigned.
  • Qualifications
  • + Master's degree in speech-language pathology from a program accredited by the Council on Academic Accreditation in Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology (CAA).
+ Completed a clinical fellowship. + Passed the Praxis exam + Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) certification. Chenega Corporation and family of companies is an EOE. Equal Opportunity Employer/Veterans/Disabled Native preference under
