Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Bring your expertise in speech-language pathology to an impactful contract opportunity providing vital services to students for the upcoming school year. Play a crucial role within a collaborative special education team, serving K-12 learners in a supportive environment. Multiple full-time positions are available, with exact assignments determined before the start of the school year. This position is exclusively on-site and ideal for adaptable SLPs ready for a rewarding challenge.
Key Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders A few years of relevant experience in educational settings Oregon teaching license with Speech Impaired or Communications Disorder Endorsement and/or active State of Oregon Speech-Language Pathology License ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) is strongly preferred Experience supporting students with moderate to severe disabilities Knowledge of low- and high-tech augmentative communication systems is helpful Valid Oregon Driver's License Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate expertly with students, families, and colleagues Committed to confidentiality and professional standards May be required to maintain a valid First Aid/CPR certification
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver direct speech-language therapy to K-12 students, adapting interventions for diverse needs Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations Develop and implement individualized education program (IEP) goals Collaborate with multidisciplinary staff, including psychologists and behavioral specialists Consult with teachers and families to foster student progress Document and report on interventions, maintaining required records Make a direct impact while advancing your career within a dynamic educational community.
