Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a specialized role supporting young children's communication growth across Marion, Polk, and Yamhill Counties. This contract position offers multiple full-time openings for Speech-Language Pathologists dedicated to making a difference in the lives of preschool learners. As part of a collaborative team, you'll work with children ages 3-5, providing essential speech and language services to foster their social and academic readiness. Your expertise will shine as you perform evaluations, deliver targeted individual and group therapy, and actively participate in IEP teams. You'll partner with families and early childhood educators, empowering them with strategies that support optimal development during this formative period. With a schedule that mirrors the academic calendar, you'll enjoy both structure and the rewards of consistent student progress.
Qualifications & Preferred Experience:
Valid Oregon SLP license, or eligibility to obtain ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; strong consideration given to Clinical Fellows (CFY) Experience engaging preschoolers in therapeutic settings highly valued Effective communication and collaboration skills, especially within multidisciplinary teams Dedication to developmental best practices in early childhood environments
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct speech and language screenings and comprehensive evaluations for children ages 3-5 Design and implement individualized and group therapy plans based on assessment data Collaborate closely with IEP teams, families, and educators to ensure holistic support Maintain thorough documentation and contribute to progress reports in accordance with program standards This is an impactful opportunity to focus your skills where they matter most—early intervention.
