Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students as a School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist near beautiful Westlake, OR. This role is ideal for professionals passionate about helping children succeed academically and socially by addressing communication challenges in a supportive educational environment. Whether you're an experienced SLP or completing your Clinical Fellowship (CFY), you'll find this position both fulfilling and growth-oriented.
Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Valid SLP license (state-appropriate) or eligibility; CCCs or Clinical Fellowship Year candidates encouraged to apply Background in pediatric speech and language pathology (school-based or healthcare settings preferred) Teletherapy skills are a plus Strong interpersonal, collaboration, and organizational skills Ability to work effectively with students, families, teachers, and multi-disciplinary teams
Responsibilities:
Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans for students with speech, language, and communication disorders Collaborate with teachers and other school staff to ensure effective integration of therapy within the classroom setting Provide direct therapy services, both individually and in small groups, with in-person and possible teletherapy components Maintain accurate and thorough documentation, progress monitoring, and compliance with educational regulations Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and professional development opportunities as needed Offer guidance and resources to families to support student progress at home
