Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Support students in reaching their full communication potential in this contract opportunity tailored for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist. You'll collaborate with educators, families, and fellow specialists, playing a pivotal role in student success by evaluating and delivering speech-language services in an educational environment.
Qualifications and Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or equivalent Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) Active state licensure as required for school-based practice Previous experience working within school settings preferred Strong clinical, communication, and organization skills Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams Dedication to fostering positive student outcomes and engagement
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive assessments for students referred for speech and language concerns Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans in accordance with IEPs Deliver direct and consultative services, adapting interventions to meet diverse student needs Collaborate with educators, support staff, and families to promote student academic and social growth Maintain timely, accurate records and documentation as mandated Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise in communication disorders Engage in ongoing professional development to remain current with therapy best practices
