PRIMARY ROLE
The Speech and Language Pathologist (SLP) provides evaluation, assessment, consultation and/or direct instruction to students with disabilities in the IMESD service area. The SLP will also collaborative with other educators and specialists to provide best practices for students.
QUALIFICATIONS
- To perform this job successfully, an individual must be proficient in each responsibility and essential function of the position.
The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Individual will hold a valid driver's license and have reliable, insured transportation. If selected for the position, individual will complete a pre-employment background check.
EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION/EXPERIENCE
- Completion of the American Speech and Hearing Association's (ASHA) certificate of clinical competence (CCC) OR
- License as a Speech-Language Pathologist from the Oregon Board of Examiners for Speech Pathology and Audiology
