Job Description

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Step into a rewarding opportunity for the 26/27 school year as a contract Speech-Language Pathologist, serving a lively K-5th grade community in a picturesque area near Saint Helens, OR. This full-time role lets you leave a significant impact, working alongside a dedicated Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to support 80-85 students in both a main site and a nearby charter school. Your experience as an SLP with a Certificate of Clinical Competence will be put to use in a supportive, collaborative environment where your expertise will help shape students' communication skills. The position blends hands-on clinical work, leadership, and mentorship, making it perfect for professionals who enjoy variety in their daily routine. What we're hoping you'll bring: ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) State SLP licensure (or eligibility to obtain before the school year begins) Experience in a school-based setting, particularly with K-5th grade students Confidence in IEP development, leading meetings, and performing speech-language evaluations Skills in supervising and collaborating with an SLPA Excellent communication and organizational abilities Passion for fostering student growth and inclusion Your impact will reach across direct therapy, comprehensive evaluations, IEP writing, leading meetings, and supervising your SLPA partner to maximize support for all students. You'll coordinate services at a main campus and visit the charter school as an extension of your caseload, ensuring consistency and quality of care.
