Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract role supporting students as a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) near Sheridan, OR. Utilize your expertise to help children achieve critical communication and academic milestones while collaborating with caring educators and families. In this position, your responsibilities will include: Conducting comprehensive assessments to diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in students Designing and implementing individualized therapy plans tailored to student needs Delivering engaging, evidence-based interventions in both individual and group settings Collaborating closely with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to foster student success Documenting progress, maintaining accurate records, and contributing to IEP/504 planning Providing training, resources, and support for staff and families to promote effective strategies in various learning environments What you bring: Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) Active state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist Familiarity with school-based settings, and a solid understanding of IEP processes Strong communication skills, compassion, and the ability to adapt therapy for diverse student needs Organizational skills to manage caseloads efficiently and meet deadlines This contract opportunity offers you the chance to make a meaningful difference in the daily lives of students, while allowing for professional growth and the satisfaction of seeing tangible progress.
