Job Description
In the heart of The Dalles, Oregon, Adventist Health Columbia Gorge has served the Columbia River Gorge community since 1901. We are comprised of a 49-bed hospital, various medical offices, home health, a birthing center and a vast scope of services located throughout The Dalles and the surrounding areas. The Dalles is known for its picturesque views of the Columbia River, local charm and delicious downtown restaurants and bakeries. There is something for everyone in this scenic community.

Provides speech therapy services to patients with speech, language or swallowing disorders.Job Requirements:
Education and Work Experience:
Master's Degree or foreign equivalent:Required Licenses/Certifications:
Speech Pathologist licensure in the state of practice: Required Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) or Basic Life Support (BLSOR HS-BLS OR RQIBLS
) certification: Required American Speech-Language and Hearing Association (ASHA) Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC): Preferred Valid Driver's License (DL) and must be at least 21 years of age or older:Required Facility Specific License/Certifications:
AHA-BLS or ARC-BLS or AHA-CPR or ARC-CPR:
Required Essential Functions:
Assesses and documents speech therapy data related to patient assessments, patient care needs, interventions and outcomes. Identifies changes and trends throughout physical and emotional parameters. Reviews treatment plans and assesses individual performances to modify, change or write new programs. Maintains documentation as required by law, establishment policy and administrative regulation. Instructs patients on ways to monitor speech and practice new skills. Performs other job-related duties as assigned.Organizational Requirements:
