Job Description
Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract A contract opportunity is available for two Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) specializing in preschool early intervention services within locations in Carbon County or Lehigh County, Pennsylvania. This role involves providing itinerant services primarily to preschool-aged children, with possible assignment shifts to school-age caseloads during the traditional school year. Flexibility to work with students from PreK through 12th grade is essential.
Responsibilities:
Deliver itinerant speech-language services to children in early intervention and potentially school-age settings Collaborate with educational teams and families to support individualized student communication goals Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with program standards Adapt to changing caseload needs and locations betweenCarbon and Lehigh Counties Qualifications:
Active Pennsylvania license as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Valid Pennsylvania educator credential (Instructional I or II) Experience working with preschool early intervention populations preferred Willingness to provide in-person services only Flexibility to serve a diverse caseload across PreK-12Schedule & Location:
35 hours per week Assignments may vary between Carbon and Lehigh Counties, with the main office located in Schnecksville, PA Contract period beginning ASAP through the 2026-27 school year (tentative), following the Early Intervention calendar year-round Benefits include engaging work within the community, opportunity to impact early childhood development, and collaboration with experienced multidisciplinary teams.
