Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Speech-Language Pathologist - School-Based (Maternity Leave Coverage / Itinerant Role) Lackawanna County & Dunmore, Pennsylvania Immediate Start | Onsite Soliant is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist for a contract position supporting a school-based program in the Lackawanna County and Dunmore area. This role begins as maternity leave coverage and transitions into itinerant student support in the spring.

Position Overview:

Start date: ASAP End date: August 7, 2026

Schedule:

35 hours per week (part-time candidates may be considered)

Assignment:

Maternity leave coverage transitioning to itinerant services in spring Service area: Lackawanna County and Dunmore, PA region Onsite only (virtual not accepted) School district details will be disclosed upon candidate qualification.

Responsibilities:

Provide direct speech-language therapy services to students Support caseloads across multiple school sites Conduct evaluations, write reports, and participate in IEP meetings Collaborate with teachers and multidisciplinary teams Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with district and state guidelines

Qualifications:

Active Pennsylvania Speech-Language Pathologist license ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required Must be eligible to obtain/complete PA clearances Strong communication and collaboration skills Must have reliable transportation School-based experience required

Experience & Education:

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology required Prior school-based experience required

Work Hours:

35 hours per week (flexible for part-time candidates if needed)

Employment Type:

Contract - W2

Compensation:

$47-54/hour DOE (average ~$50/hour, depending on years of experience)
