Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact supporting students across multiple elementary and high school settings this summer. This contract position offers a unique opportunity for a Speech-Language Pathologist to contribute vital expertise to an in-demand ESY (Extended School Year) program, working with a caseload of 56 students from July 1st through July 30th. Your mornings will be spent onsite at various elementary schools and a high school, collaborating with educational staff and helping students thrive through effective, compassionate care.
What We're Looking For:
Active Pennsylvania SLP Educator Certification is required Experience working with school-age children, ideally in an educational or ESY (Extended School Year) setting Strong collaboration skills for working with educational teams, administrators, and families Solid organizational and documentation abilities Adaptability and problem-solving skills in dynamic school environments Ability to travel between multiple sites during scheduled program hours
What You'll Do:
Deliver direct and consultative speech-language therapy to a diverse group of students across multiple schools Evaluate, assess, and document student progress according to IEP objectives Develop and adjust individualized treatment plans to support students' communication goals Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to maximize student outcomes Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to a positive learning environment Maintain compliance with state and district documentation requirements This contract runs weekdays from 8:00 AM to 12:30 PM, offering a focused schedule that leaves your afternoons free for personal pursuits.
