Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting preschoolers with special education needs in a dynamic and engaging environment. This on-site, contract position focuses on providing speech-language pathology services to children ages 3 to 5 years old within the New Oxford and Gettysburg areas. As an itinerant SLP, you'll be part of a collaborative team, utilizing dedicated paperwork time each week to keep your caseload organized and manageable. Your schedule aligns to a 188-day preschool stretch calendar, maintaining consistent hours from 8:00 am to 3:30 pm, totaling 35 hours per week. Key qualifications:
Active Pennsylvania SLP license required (must be submitted with resume) ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred, but strong Clinical Fellows will be considered with agency-provided supervision Prior experience in school or pediatric settings, especially with preschool-aged children, is an asset Strong organizational skills and flexibility for itinerant assignments Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities Responsibilities include: Delivering direct therapy services to preschool students with a variety of special needs Performing comprehensive speech-language evaluations and developing individualized plans Collaborating with educators, families, and other specialists to support student progress Documenting and managing caseload in accordance with state and program requirements Maximizing the provided weekly paperwork time to stay current and effective in service delivery If you are ready to support young learners and help shape their futures, apply today and make a significant difference in Adams County's preschool community!
