Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a dynamic school-based environment providing speech-language services to diverse students across grade levels. Two onsite Speech-Language Pathologists are needed for the upcoming academic year, serving students from elementary through high school (K-12). This is a contract opportunity, focused within special and general education settings from August 18, 2026, to May 27, 2027, offering a consistent 35-hour work week. You'll work directly with students in both traditional and autistic support classrooms. Elementary caseloads focus on regular education and autistic support, managing approximately 50-55 students—some with comprehensive case management responsibilities. Secondary assignments encompass middle and high school students, supporting those in learning support, life skills, and autistic support programs, averaging caseloads of up to 60 students, with several on reduced service delivery plans.
Qualifications & Experience:
Active Pennsylvania Speech-Language Pathologist Certification (PA SLP Cert) Valid Pennsylvania teaching certification (must be submitted with resume) Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) Prior experience in school-based or pediatric settings is highly desirable Comfortable working onsite across multiple district locations; virtual work is not available Strong organizational skills to manage caseloads and documentation requirements Effective communicator with students, staff, and families
Responsibilities:
