Job Description

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A school-based Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available for the summer, offering part-time hours with a focus on early elementary students (K-5). This contract role involves supporting two different sites, providing valuable speech and language services to young learners in need.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver speech-language therapy services to K-5 students, addressing articulation, language, fluency, and communication disorders. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to develop individualized education program (IEP) goals and implement effective interventions. Monitor and document student progress, preparing reports and participating in meetings as required. Adapt therapy techniques to meet the diverse needs of students across two sites. Maintain compliance with school policies and applicable regulations.
Qualifications:
Valid Pennsylvania Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) License. Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred. Experience working with school-aged children in speech therapy settings. Strong communication and organizational skills. Ability to manage a K-5 caseload effectively.
