Job Description
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Make a difference in students' lives as a part-time Speech-Language Pathologist working with 5th to 8th graders for the current school year. This contract opportunity is perfect for professionals skilled in providing primary speech and language support, especially to lower-needs populations. Enjoy a consistent, manageable caseload of approximately 26 students—with no ASD—allowing you to focus on meaningful, individualized progress. Start as soon as possible and continue through the end of the school year (June 12, 2026), with the option to extend into the Extended School Year from June 29 to July 16, 2026. The ESY schedule offers flexibility, with 1-2 days per week from 8:30am to 2:30pm. The role is based near Exton, PA, and requires working 16 hours over 2 days each week during the school year.
Requirements:
Active SLP license in Pennsylvania Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) Experience providing speech and language services in a school setting Comfort working with grades 5-8 Strong communication and organizational skillsResponsibilities:
Deliver direct speech and language therapy to a caseload of 5th-8th grade students Develop, implement, and update individualized therapy plans Collaborate with classroom teachers, other specialists, and families Document student progress and maintain compliance with school and state guidelines Participate in IEP meetings as required Provide consistent, evidence-based support for communication development For those with experience and a passion for student growth, compensation ranges from $45 to $55 per hour, based on your background.
