Job Description

Position requires a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, eligibility to begin the Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) under ASHA supervision, and eligible for state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.

Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Speech-Language Pathologist Clinical Fellow to join our school district team near Hazleton, PA. This position focuses on serving K-12 students with a wide range of speech and language needs, including those with autism spectrum disorders. You will have the opportunity to work in a supportive environment with diverse caseloads and gain valuable clinical experience under supervision.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide evaluation, assessment, and therapy for students with speech, language, and communication challenges. Implement individualized treatment plans tailored to the needs of children with a variety of speech and autism-related needs. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support student communication goals. Maintain accurate documentation and comply with school district policies and state regulations. Participate in regular supervision sessions to support professional growth and development.
Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) from an accredited program. Eligible for Pennsylvania Clinical Fellowship (CF) year. Strong interest and experience working with K-12 students across diverse needs. Ability to work effectively in a school environment with children on the autism spectrum. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
Work Schedule:
Full-time, approximately 35 hours per week.
School calendar schedule:
August through May.
