Job Description

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A part-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available in a school setting located in Huntingdon, PA. This role focuses on providing specialized speech and language services to middle and high school students in a contract capacity, working three days per week. The position involves supporting 37 students with diverse communication needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct speech and language evaluations and assessments. Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans. Provide direct therapy to students in individual and group settings. Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress. Maintain accurate documentation and reporting in compliance with relevant regulations. Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to individualized education program (IEP) development.
Qualifications and Experience:
Valid Speech-Language Pathologist certification (CCC-SLP) required. Experience working with school-age children, particularly middle and high school students. Knowledge of school-based therapy practices and educational resources. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and manage caseload effectively.
