Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract A rewarding contract opportunity is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support students across multiple educational sites during ESY. This position runs from July 1 to July 30, offering consistent weekday hours from 8:00 AM to 12:30 PM. The successful candidate will work onsite, lending expertise and care to a diverse student population.
Key Qualifications and Experience:
Valid Pennsylvania SLP Educator Certification is required Experience working with school-age children in an educational setting, ideally as a school-based SLP Proficient in developing and executing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Exceptional communication, collaboration, and organizational skills Ability to manage a caseload of approximately 56 students across various grade levels Commitment to fostering a positive and supportive learning environment
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver speech-language therapy sessions to students in West Crawford Elementary, Dunbar Township Elementary, Springfield Elementary, and Connellsville Area High School Provide assessments, ongoing therapy, and progress monitoring for students receiving ESY services Collaborate closely with educators, families, and support staff to ensure students' needs are met Maintain thorough and timely documentation in line with school and state requirements Support student growth, participation, and communication throughout the extended school year program This is an excellent opportunity for an SLP seeking hands-on experience in a dynamic school environment during the summer.
