Job Description
Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make an impact supporting students in their communication and language development as a contract Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) for the 2026-2027 school year. This opportunity is based near Mckeesport, PA, with a flexible 2-days-per-week schedule, ideally suited for professionals interested in secondary and select older elementary caseloads. As school calendar details are still being finalized, anticipate a typical assignment spanning from late August through late May or early June. Bring your expertise in speech-language pathology to empower students in a collaborative educational environment. You'll work closely with other educators and specialists to ensure students receive the interventions and support they need for academic and social success.
Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Current and valid SLP-CCC credential Eligible for Pennsylvania state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist Prior experience in a school-based setting, including work with secondary and/or upper elementary students, preferred Strong organizational, communication, and documentation skills Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, staff, and familiesKey Responsibilities:
Assess, diagnose, and treat students with speech, language, and communication disorders Manage a secondary caseload with possible inclusion of older elementary students Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) Provide direct and consultative services in accordance with IEP goals Maintain thorough documentation and progress reports Collaborate with school teams to support student learning and participationPerks:
