Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Travel A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist is needed to provide specialized support to elementary students in a dynamic school environment located in Middletown, PA. This travel assignment covers the remainder of the 2025-2026 school year, from ASAP through June 4, 2026, with a typical workday from 8:10 AM to 3:40 PM. The caseload includes 34 elementary students, all on the autism spectrum, requiring targeted communication assistance to help them achieve academic and social success. The role involves a balanced mix of assessment, individual and group intervention, collaboration with educators and families, as well as ensuring all compliance requirements are met.
Key responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments to identify student needs Develop and deliver tailored intervention plans to support communication development Collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and other professionals to optimize student outcomes Maintain documentation and compliance with school and district policies Monitor and report on student progress to inform ongoing treatment planning Desired qualifications and experience: Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist Experience working with pediatric populations, particularly students with autism Strong skills in assessment, therapy techniques, and progress tracking Ability to collaborate within a multidisciplinary school team Adaptability and excellent communication skills This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students' lives within a supportive educational setting.
