Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Use your expertise to make a significant impact as a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist working with children and adolescents! This contract opportunity lets you utilize your clinical knowledge and communication skills in a dynamic educational environment. You'll collaborate with a supportive staff, offering direct services and interventions that help students thrive both in and out of the classroom.
Desired Skills & Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Valid state licensure (or eligibility) as an SLP Previous experience with pediatric populations and school-aged children Familiarity with IEP processes and documentation Strong communication and organizational abilities Creative, resourceful, and passionate about helping kids reach their potential
Key Responsibilities:
Assess, diagnose, and provide therapy for speech, language, and communication disorders Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in accordance with IEP goals Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student needs Conduct screenings and evaluations as required Document progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with school and state guidelines Provide education and strategies to staff and families to promote effective communication
