Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding role supporting students' communication needs in a school-based setting for the upcoming 26/27 academic year. This full-time contract position serves both elementary and secondary age groups, offering the chance to make a real difference across a diverse caseload. Your expertise will impact not only students but their families and teachers as you help foster successful learning environments.
Desired Qualifications:
Active Pennsylvania Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license Pennsylvania Educator Certification Experience in pediatric, school-based, or healthcare SLP preferred Completion or pursuit of the Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) is welcome Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills Passion for working with children and adolescents in educational settings
Key Responsibilities:
Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders among students Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to ensure students' goals are met Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports Provide consultation and resources for staff on communication strategies and interventions Attend and contribute to IEP meetings and school-based team discussions Enjoy a number of professional perks, including weekly pay—both direct and indirect hours compensated at the same rate.
