Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding summer opportunity supporting students' communication growth in a dynamic school environment near Scranton, PA. This contract-based position offers a unique chance for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with their CCC to make an impact over a short-term assignment, running from June 29th to July 30th. Your responsibilities will include:
Delivering individualized and group therapy sessions to K-12 students with a variety of speech and language needs Completing evaluations, developing and updating IEP goals, and maintaining thorough progress documentation Collaborating with educators, support staff, and families to foster student growth Providing consultative services and communication strategies for teachers and caregivers Staying current on best practices and adapting approaches as needed to support diverse learners Ideal candidates will bring: An active Speech-Language Pathology license for Pennsylvania Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) Prior experience working in school settings or with pediatric populations Strong written and verbal communication skills The ability to work independently, and as part of a collaborative team You'll thrive within a nurturing and supportive atmosphere, renowned for its collegial staff and commitment to student success.
