Job Description

Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) - Full-Time School Role State College, PA | 2026-2027 School Year Help Students Communicate. Help Them Succeed. Pediatric Developmental Services (PDS) is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a full-time position supporting a school district in the State College area for the 2026-2027 academic year. This role offers a consistent school schedule, collaborative team environment, and the opportunity to make a lasting impact on students' communication development. Position Summary As a school-based SLP, you will work directly with students to improve speech and language skills that support learning, social interaction, and independence. Full-time schedule aligned with school hours School-based caseload with diverse student needs Collaborative environment with educators and support staff Key Responsibilities Provide therapy services aligned with student IEP goals Conduct speech and language evaluations Develop and implement individualized treatment plans Support students with articulation, language, fluency, and pragmatic skills Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary collaboration Maintain accurate and timely documentation Work Schedule & Environment Monday-Friday school schedule No evenings or weekends required School holidays and scheduled breaks off Structured and supportive setting What PDS Offers Competitive compensation with optional spread pay (12-month structure) W-2 employment options Health, dental, and vision insurance Retirement plan options CEU opportunities and professional development Materials stipend Licensure reimbursement Clinical Advisory Team for ongoing support Dedicated Client Services Manager Qualifications Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Active Pennsylvania SLP license (or ability to obtain) ASHA CCCs preferred Clinical Fellows (CFs) encouraged to apply Why PDS?
