Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting students with complex communication needs, working in a dynamic and collaborative educational environment. This contract-based assignment spans the current and extended school year, with continued opportunities for the next school year, and offers the chance to make a genuine impact on the lives of students ages 7-21 who demonstrate high-level autism with many non-verbal learners.
Key Qualifications & Experience:
Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology Current and valid SLP-CCC certification Possession of active Educator Certificate Demonstrated experience with children and adolescents on the autism spectrum, particularly those who are non-verbal Familiarity with school-based services and best practices for individuals with complex needs Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
Core Responsibilities:
Provide speech-language therapy services for a caseload of 30-35 students within a single school setting Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans Collaborate closely with teachers, behavioral staff, and families to foster student progress Monitor and document student outcomes, adjusting strategies based on ongoing analysis Participate in IEP meetings, progress reviews, and interdisciplinary team discussions Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and ethical standards Onboard with a blend of three days onsite and two days virtual orientation
