Job Description
Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract This contract position for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) offers the opportunity to work full-time from March 1, 2026, through June 5, 2026, supporting early childhood students in a school setting in Wilkes Barre, PA. The role focuses on conducting approximately 130 evaluations of children aged 4 to 5 years old, providing essential speech and language assessments to support early intervention efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
Administer comprehensive speech and language evaluations for early childhood students aged 4-5 years. Collaborate with educators and support staff to develop individualized plans based on assessment results. Maintain clear and accurate documentation of evaluation findings and recommendations. Communicate effectively with families and caregivers regarding student progress and needs. Participate in team meetings to coordinate services and share insights on student development.Qualifications and Experience:
Valid Speech-Language Pathology certification (SLP-CCC) required. Experience working in a school environment preferred. Skilled in early childhood speech and language evaluation. Strong organizational and communication skills. Ability to manage a caseload efficiently and meet deadlines.Location:
