Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity making a difference in the lives of elementary students near Missouri City, TX. This full-time Speech-Language Pathologist role offers an engaging mix of clinical and school-based practice for professionals dedicated to supporting student growth and communication skills. Your weekly schedule will total 37.5 hours, primarily on an elementary campus with a diverse caseload of approximately 60 students near year-end. You'll collaborate with one ECSE classroom, a self-contained classroom serving K-4th, and a behavioral support program (note: not all in these programs receive services). There's also flexibility to work remotely one day each week, a benefit designed for work-life balance and professional focus.
Qualifications:
Active Speech-Language Pathology license (CCC required) Robust background in school-based SLP services; direct school experience is essential TX school experience highly preferred Strong pediatrics and healthcare knowledge as it applies in educational settings Experience working with elementary-aged children and diverse student needs Comfortable collaborating with educators, families, and support staff Clinical Fellowship (CF) applicants will not be considered What you'll do: Administer assessments and create tailored therapy plans for students ages K-4th Deliver intervention and ongoing support for students with communication needs Maintain accurate records and document progress for IEP meetings Serve on interdisciplinary teams, collaborating closely with teachers and specialists Communicate with families to keep them informed and empowered Experience the fulfillment of fostering students' growth in a supportive, professional environment.
