Job Description
Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Bring your expertise in speech-language pathology to an engaging school-based setting serving students in the greater Springfield, PA area! This contract opportunity is ideal for a dedicated SLP who is passionate about fostering communication skills and making a positive difference in the lives of children.
Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders Valid state licensure as an SLP (Clinical Fellowship Year candidates welcome) Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, but Clinical Fellows encouraged to apply Experience in pediatric or school-based SLP settings is highly valued Proficiency with teletherapy platforms a plus Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skillsKey Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive speech and language therapy services to a diverse student population, including assessments, interventions, and progress monitoring Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams Engage in data-driven decision making to tailor therapy approaches Communicate regularly with educators, parents, and support staff to promote student success Maintain thorough documentation and adhere to school and regulatory standards Adapt therapy delivery as needed, including both in-person and teletherapy formatsBenefits:
