Category Schools - SLP - Telespeech Job Type Contract A specialized speech-language pathologist (SLP) role is available for the remainder of the school year, focusing on a 5th-grade student with unique needs. This contract opportunity involves providing teletherapy services to a student requiring support with speech and swallowing, alongside assistance due to mobility challenges.

Schedule:
Approximately 1 hour per week Responsibilities include: Delivering teletherapy sessions tailored to the communication and swallowing needs of a pediatric student Collaborating with caregivers and educational staff to address eating assistance and monitor changes in condition Implementing individualized strategies to support speech and language development in alignment with the student's mobility limitations Documenting progress and adjusting therapy plans accordingly Desired qualifications: Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology Experience in pediatric healthcare and school settings Proficiency in telepractice methods for speech-language therapy Ability to manage complex cases involving mobility impairment and feeding challenges Strong communication skills to effectively liaise with multidisciplinary teams This position offers a unique opportunity to impact a student's educational and health outcomes through focused, high-impact intervention.
