Full Job Description Strive Health Services, LLC is excited to offer a Therapy Supervisor position at our Houston/Woodlands office. Qualified candidates may be a Speech and Language Pathologist or Physical Therapist. This is an incredible opportunity to help grow and further develop a therapy program in this region. Job Duties Directs and coordinates the delivery of patient care; assumes responsibility for continuity, quality, and safety of services delivered in compliance with state and federal regulations. Participates in activities relevant to professional services, including the development of qualifications and the assignment of clinicians to patients. Supervises and provides direction to field clinicians to ensure quality, compliance with the Plan of Care, and assessment and reassessment of patients' needs and continuity of services by appropriate healthcare personnel. Reviews clinical documentation through QA tasks and ensures that all therapy evaluations/recertifications are appropriately submitted for authorization approval. Participates in the QAPI Program and ensures appropriate corrective measures are performed. Promotes compliance with all fiscal intermediaries and/or other third-party payors through education, coaching, and other assistance as necessary. Monitors systems and identifies problem areas to the Director and/or VP of Therapy both verbally and through written reports. Meets mandatory continuing education requirements of the agency and licensing board. Promotes and educates regarding the concepts of infection control and standard precautions in coordinating/performing patient care activities to prevent contamination and transmission of disease. Promotes and educates on safety with therapeutic interventions and equipment. Uses effective interpersonal relations and communication skills; facilitates the use of these skills by other team members to achieve desirable outcomes. Completes treatments for a small caseload, including assessing home health pediatric patients for rehabilitative and functional status by initiating and revising the plan of care as necessary to ensure quality and continuity of care. Regularly re-evaluates the patient's/client's therapeutic needs and evaluates the outcomes of care on a regular basis by identifying deficits impacting overall functional and developmental skills. Evaluates the home environment. Qualifications Graduate of an accredited diploma, with a Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree 3-5 years of experience as a pediatric therapist preferred 1-3 years of experience in supervising/managing others preferred Pediatric home health experience preferred Reliable transportation Current Texas State license as a Speech Language Pathologist Current Driver's License Additional Perks of Working with Us Fast turnover of referrals/authorization acquisition for treatment Tablet provided for electronic documentation We look forward to discussing your future career as part of the Strive Health Services family!
