Job Description

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist role is available for the upcoming academic year, focusing on 5th and 6th grade students in a Newtown, CT school setting. This onsite contract position is slated to begin as soon as possible and continue through the end of the school year.
Responsibilities include:
Conducting assessments and providing speech therapy to students in grades 5 and 6 Managing a caseload effectively, utilizing evidence-based practices and individualized treatment plans Collaborating with educators and support staff to enhance student communication skills Presenting Clinical Fellowships (CFY) and supporting professional development initiatives
Qualifications:
Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology Eligibility or current status as a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidate Experience in a school-based setting delivering telespeech and onsite therapy Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a focus on student engagement and progress monitoring This contract opportunity offers an immersive educational environment focused on supporting student communication and learning success through comprehensive speech therapy services.
