Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity serving school communities as a speech-language pathologist in the Bradenton, FL area. Working in educational settings, you'll help students achieve essential communication goals while collaborating with supportive staff and faculty.
Responsibilities:
Deliver tailored assessments and therapy to students, focusing on individualized education plans (IEPs). Manage a dynamic K-12 caseload; specific school assignments and age groups will be determined upon placement. Participate in IEP meetings, consult with teachers and parents, and maintain comprehensive therapy documentation. Foster communication development and facilitate student growth through evidence-based interventions. Maintain compliance with all district, state, and federal regulations.
Desired Experience & Qualifications:
Active Florida SLP license required. Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology preferred (bachelor's degree accepted in special circumstances). Open to candidates completing their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY); SLPAs not being considered at this time. Experience within educational settings is strongly preferred. Ability to adapt to multiple assignments if needed; flexibility in caseload based on school needs. Strong communication and organizational skills are a must. Commitment to on-site service at designated campus locations—remote candidates will not be considered.
