Job Description

Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Make a difference for young learners by providing expert speech-language pathology services to elementary students. This contract position offers a unique blend of in-person and remote work, supporting a diverse caseload at an elementary campus just off Highway 288. You'll work with approximately 60 students—including those in intervention, ECSE, self-contained K-4 classrooms, and a behavioral support program—helping each child reach their full communication potential.
Desired Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Current CCC-SLP credential required Valid state licensure to practice speech-language pathology in Texas Minimum of one year of prior school-based SLP experience (required) Familiarity with TX school processes is highly preferred Ability to manage a dynamic caseload and adapt to evolving student needs Strong communication and collaborative skills for working with diverse teams No clinical fellowship applicants at this time
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct speech-language therapy services to elementary students Design and implement individualized IEPs based on student strengths and needs Conduct progress monitoring, assessments, and comprehensive documentation Collaborate with classroom teachers, intervention teams, and support staff to ensure holistic student growth Communicate regularly with families and caregivers Participate in multi-disciplinary team meetings and contribute to student eligibility processes Benefit from a consistent schedule of 37.5 hours per week and the flexibility to work remotely one day per week.
