Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting students as a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist for the 2026-2027 school year. Work in-person with K-12 learners, helping them develop essential communication skills in a dynamic and collaborative environment. Caseload specifics will be determined, allowing you to tailor your expertise to meet unique school-based needs. This contract role is perfect for skilled SLPs eager to make a difference on campus—remote or virtual-only applicants will not be considered.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Active Washington state SLP license (required) ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) Previous experience in a school setting preferred Strong interpersonal and communication abilities for teamwork with staff, students, and families Commitment to fostering positive learning environments for K-12 populations
Core Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive evaluations and screenings of students' speech, language, and communication skills Develop and implement effective IEPs and interventions targeting each student's goals Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to support integrated care Provide direct therapy services in both individual and group settings Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with school and state requirements Advocate for students' needs in IEP meetings and school-based teams
