Job Description
Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a real impact in the lives of students as a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist supporting a vibrant K-12 community in the Fort Worth, TX area. This is an on-site, full-time contract opportunity from August 10, 2026, through May 21, 2027, where you'll provide essential speech and language services to a caseload of approximately 60-65 students at one assigned school location (to be confirmed). Use your skills in assessment, direct intervention, and collaboration with school teams to support student communication and academic success.
Qualifications & Experience:
Valid Texas Speech Language Pathologist licensure is required Previous experience in a school-based SLP role preferred Ability to manage a varied K-12 caseload, with strong communication and organizational skills Bilingual (Spanish/English) professionals are strongly encouraged to apply Must successfully complete or verify fingerprints through the TEA (results can take up to 10 business days) Must be available to work on-site; virtual/remote options are not available
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct screenings, evaluations, and individualized therapy sessions for students with speech and language needs Develop, implement, and update IEP goals in collaboration with educators and families Maintain thorough and timely documentation and progress reports as required by the district Consult and collaborate with teachers, support staff, and parents to support generalization of skills and student growth Attend relevant meetings, including IEP meetings, and participate in professional development as needed This is your chance to inspire positive change and help young learners reach their potential within a supportive school environment.
